Responsibilities will include overseeing a team of paid social media managers and planners across various clients – from planning to implementation, optimization and analysis. Working with our social media account team, you will devise and implement sophisticated programs, manage outside vendors and partners, help to develop internal process flows and communicate plans and results to BCM team members and clients.

Overall responsibilities of the Paid Social Planner

  • Brand Management: The Supervisor, Paid Social & Performance Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the Paid Social Managers and Planners, ensuring client deliverables are being fulfilled. This candidate will work closely with the Director and internal teams to develop and execute social strategies for clients across multiple verticals. Work with account teams on tracking approaches, budget and ad format recommendations, partner considerations and planning documents. This candidate will be overseeing the tactical implementation of media plans with the assistance of the team they will be managing.
  • Digital Media Thought-Leadership: Responsible for staying on top of the constantly changing paid social media landscape, and communicate product updates with insights (including any applicable implications to current clients) to internal teams. Additionally, we will use your experience layered with the BCM team experience to enhance internal process flows for managing social media efforts from planning to execution. Foster and maintain vendor relationships to ensure a cohesive partnership where agency/vendor responsibilities are clearly outlined and adhered to, and the relationships help to enhance client programs.


  • Bachelor’s Degree, previous agency experience
  • Over 3 years of applicable social and/or search marketing experience
  • An intimate understanding of social media buying interfaces – i.e. Power Editor, Ads Manager and relevant ad serving platforms
  • Experience in direct response oriented campaigns is preferred
  • Highly motivated and willing to work closely within a team structure
  • Able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical approach to achieving objectives
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and presentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

A Project Manager is the key person driving our projects and interacts with vendors, internal and client personnel involved in the project.
