We possess expertise in strategic marketing planning, creative services, mobile marketing, social media, search engine marketing and direct & database marketing. Beeby Clark+Meyler has offices in New York, NY and Stamford, CT. This position is based in New York, NY.

 

We are currently seeking to fill an important role for an Account Director. This position requires strong knowledge of digital media, search, ecommerce, mobile and social media as well as client-service in a fast-paced agency setting. This position will provide strategic, operational and tactical leadership for the Account Management team. You will also collaborate with our internal creative, media and production teams to provide the best solutions for our clients.

The Search Marketing Analyst manages campaigns and machine-learning applications to derive new ways to extract bottom-line business results and productivity from operations.

Primary Responsibilities

The Account Director (AD) is responsible for acting as the client’s strategic advisor in business, marketing and communications. The AD will identify new business building ideas for clients, which organically lead to new biz opportunities for the agency. The AD will be expected to lead internal teams to manage toward client short-term and long-term objectives/strategies. In addition, he/she will analyze and create complex business/marketing concepts/presentations to sell-in to clients.

  • Provide senior strategic counsel to clients and account team
  • Manage accounts to be profitable without sacrificing quality. Retain and develop current accounts to increase revenue
  • Possess strong strategic, analytical and technical judgment
  • Develop key relationships with senior clients in a proactive and ongoing manner
  • Anticipate clients’ strategic needs, both long and short term
  • Plan and run strategic initiatives
  • Function as a main contact for client accounts
  • Supervise and mentor account staff in their daily activities, provide structure and instruction for balancing their workloads
  • Assume fiscal responsibility for accounts and team
  • Actively participate in, and guide, the operations and future course of the agency
  • Interact with VP, SVP & CMO client level
  • Create and present analytics, strategic business and communication concepts
  • Analyze complex information and data. Derive Insights and explain cause-effect to client within strategic context.
  • Have a realistic assessment of agency/client relationship and identify risks/opportunities
  • Assess staff resource needs in short-term/long-term for current clients and new business and creative quality

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree. Marketing, Communications or STEM programs. (We like analytical minds that can communicate complex Cause-Effect, simply)
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience
  • 3 years minimum prior agency experience is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and results oriented
  • Ability to spot trends and integrate into program efforts
  • Robust knowledge of social networks and ability to assist clients in developing strategies across multiple platforms
  • Deep knowledge of paid digital media offerings, particularly for direct response and e-commerce media campaigns
  • Motivated self-starter able to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting
  • Comfort with start-up environment and mentality
  • Solid knowledge of integrated marketing within an agency account management environment
  • Foundational knowledge of SEO and SEM strategy, and how they work together with an overall media strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a client-facing environment proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Google Certifications preferred (Ads, Analytics, Video)
  • Programmatic Certifications preferred (ex. TradeDesk)
  • Knowledge of Adobe platforms preferred
