How Inter-Agency
Co-operation Drove a
Brand Repositioning

Often times, BCM is asked to develop a digital campaign from a concept created by another agency. Of course, we approach these assignments with as much creative enthusiasm as we would if we were asked to create the original concept ourselves. We excel at taking existing ideas to new places.

Hawaiian Tropic had just completed a rebranding exercise with its above-the-line agency to take it from a sun care product to a beauty product: a product that feels, smells, and looks beautiful to use while it protects your beautiful skin. The concept was called “Aloha Therapy,” and the mission was to get the target to make it a part of their everyday beauty routine.

CAMPAIGN EVOLUTION

Working closely with our client and our partner agency serving the brand, BCM proposed we travel a group of beauty influencers (and videographers and photographers) to the islands of Hawaii to indulge in its sensorial wonders while staying protected by Hawaiian Tropic (an indulgence in its own right!). We turned this adventure into a wide range of digital assets that were so successful our client redirected their spending to be 100% digital for the entire campaign!
