BCM’s James Mullany Judges Cynopsis Digital Awards

James Mullany, Associate Director, Performance Media & Partnerships, was one of 12 judges evaluating work submitted for the Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards. Dozens of submissions were received for the Best in Online Video Content & Advertising. Mullany reviewed submissions for the following awards:

Best Social Media Campaign for Broadcast and/or Cable TV
Honoring the agency and/or network that demonstrates most innovative use of social media networks and services to promote viewership as well as viewer engagement with a broadcast TV series.

Best Category-Specific YouTube Channel
Honoring the top YouTube channel focusing on a specific vertical such as comedy, kids, sports, and pets.

This is Mullany’s second time judging the Cynopsis Digital Awards. He says, “It was an honor to be invited to judge the Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards and the competition was extremely fierce this year. All of submissions were of such a high standard that it was difficult pick just one winner for each award. I was particularly impressed to see how video strategy has extended beyond just repurposed TV content. Brands are now effectively making their YouTube Channel a destination for exclusive must-see content.”
