BCM Announces Winners of Digital Marketing Challenge at Baruch College

baruh_bcmBeeby Clark+Meyler (BCM) has announced the winners of its first-annual Beeby Clark+Meyler Digital Marketing Challenge, presented in partnership with Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.

The Digital Marketing Challenge was a contest created by BCM for Baruch students to demonstrate their savvy when it comes to digital advertising. Students were challenged to create a “go to market” creative and media plan for a mock startup app developed by BCM, including researching a target demographic, coming up with a logo, app slogan and brand voice, and a media plan for how to distribute the campaign. A mix of 30 undergraduate and graduate students across 8 teams competed by submitting concepts to a panel of BCM and Baruch College judges.

The winning team was made up of Ryan Boyko, Amit Golan Gutin, Jeff Marron and Evan Petitt, all of whom are full-time MBA students of Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business class of 2017. The team presented their idea for Breve, breakfast over easy, an inspired campaign targeting young professionals to optimize their time.

“The most rewarding part of this challenge was understanding our team’s skills and incorporating each unique perspective to build our final campaign,” the MBA students said.

“The Beeby Clark+Meyler Digital Marketing Challenge represents the type of learning opportunity we want our students to have at the Zicklin School of Business,” added Prof. Ana Valenzuela, Associate Professor of Marketing of the School’s Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business. “It’s a hands-on, experiential and highly relevant way for them to test their skills, creative thinking and business acumen in front of professionals in the industry.”

Congratulations to the winners!
